Wirtshaus Krämer 1 The new WIRTSHAUS KRÄMER in the south of Dortmund was for decades known as “Krämer in der Wanne”. The popular restaurant for day trippers is located in the idyllic Wannebachtal, near the Hohensyburg. It shines beautifully restored into a successful blend of old half-timbered and new, modern elements. Upholstered chairs and round and square tables in the bright modern style fit perfectly to the old dark wood floor and accentuated decorations and cabinets give a great ambience. The menu offers delicacies from fresh, seasonal cuisine with regional influences. Especially popular are the “3 Wanne Lollis” (meatballs) with mustard and baguette, “Himmel und Ad” the arugula soup with pine nuts and Tyrolean ham, “Krämer's Witshausburger” and "Markus sein Pfefferpotthast", named after chef Markus Slebioda: Black Angus sirloin on a spicy onion-bread sauce and a baked potato with sour cream. A tradition has taken the course operators duo Christian Schulte and Frank Feldkamp: The legendary fruit wines in Strawberry, cherry, raspberry and elderberry. In the afternoon there is coffee and cake and when the sun shines the urban terrace with 80 seats attracts outside. Not only is the social room (up to 50 people) often booked for events, there are also their own theme parties like “Tanz in den Mai” and the “Oktoberfest”.
