Namu · Dortmund - Mitte

Namu1 Have you ever tried korean ravioli? If not, then come on to the new taste experience in the inner city. These are spicy dumplings (mandu variations) with meat and vegetables made by family Byoun in der Olpe 14, near the legendary Ostwallviertel and the Kleppingstraße, the shopping street in the city. Namu is in Korean a tree such the one which stands proudly in front of the entrance in the middle of the summer terrace, a nice place to enjoy once pleasurable daily lunch, a snack and a typical local dinner. Namu represents innovative Korean cuisine, healthy eating consciously without flavor enhancers and artificial flavors. The variety of spices and the absolute freshness of the ingredients make the restaurant an El Dorado of Asian health food. Medicinal herbs such as ginseng, buffalo horn and wood and algae from the sea are in Asian cooking and medicine an ideal combination to the best of health. The menu offers: pickled Chinese cabbage (spicy or not spicy), vegetarian tofu steak, "Bibimbap", rice with beef and vegetables with chili sauce served in a hot pot or the classic "Bulgogi", marinated beef. In the puristic, elegant furnished restaurant it is a pleasure to embark on new delicacies. Those who think they have already tried everything should come in here and let serve themselves the daily menu. Curious trend-people can use the "MakGulLi", a cocktail made with rice wine, and the "Bek Se Ju", a Korean wine with ginseng, which tastes very similar to sake.
